Caleb loves helping me make smoothies. It is one of our favorite kitchen activities. We always mix up our flavors so we don’t get bored. When I asked him if he wanted to make a chocolate smoothie, he looked at me with bright eyes and screamed, “YES!” He was super excited to try a chocolate smoothie!

You only need four ingredients to make this Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie. We started with Almond Breeze Chocolate Unsweetened Almond Milk . It is plenty sweet for me and was perfect in our special smoothie. We added a frozen banana to thicken up our smoothie. I like to keep frozen bananas in the freezer because they always come in handy when it is smoothie making time! You can’t taste the banana because we also added frozen raspberries! The chocolate raspberry combo is divine and perfect for Valentine’s Day!

To bring out the chocolate flavor, I threw in a few tablespoons of Dutch processed cocoa powder. We blended everything together and poured our smoothie into two glasses. I wanted to make the smoothie extra special for Caleb so I got out our fun straws and topped the Chocolate Raspberry Smoothies with sprinkles! He thought I was the coolest mom ever:)

The smoothie is rich, chocolaty, and oh so good! Whenever I am craving chocolate, I am going to turn to this smoothie! I love that it is easy to make and on the healthier side! And I am so glad Caleb loved it too! He is already asking to make chocolate smoothies again…and I am ok with that, as long he will share with me:)

If you are looking for a fun and easy Valentine’s Day treat, make our Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie! It is sure to be a hit with the kiddos and your special sweetheart. If you want to get all romantic, you can put two straws in one glass and sip away:) Enjoy!
